Very popular in Portugal for training young horses. It has moveable cheeks and is available with different ports. The length of the cheeks is also variable. Because of its moveability, this bit encourages the horse's chewing activity and thus helps it to have a relaxed lower jaw. It is particularly suitable for use on horses with a rather hard or dead mouth and is used with a bridoon bit. Available in the colours gold and silver.
