Gut Rosenhof is a mountain farm.
The roughage for our livery horses comes from our own meadows so we always have hay and grassilage of the very best quality. The land is not treated with any artificial fertiliser and the hay is cut very late which is ideal for the horses.
The farm also has an open stabling arrangement where young colts are reared as well as generous meadows with shelter for old, retired horses.
A wood where we can fell the wood to burn in our fires also belongs to Gut Rosenhof.
