Gut Rosenhof is a mountain farm.
Most of the roughage comes from our own mountain meadows which are never treated with artificial fertiliser cut late. The land is not treated with any artificial fertiliser and the hay is cut very late which is ideal for the horses.
The farm also has an open stabling arrangement where young colts are reared as well as generous meadows with shelter for old, retired horses.
A wood where we can fell the wood to burn in our fires also belongs to Gut Rosenhof.
