High school of horse training in Marbach at the seminar with Anja Beran

Our seminar on “Recognizing and improving natural crookedness” attracted many interested visitors to Marbach State Stud. After being welcomed by stud manager Dr. Astrid von Velsen-Zerweck and a theoretical introduction by Anja Beran, the practical part began with Vera Munderloh on the young warmblood gelding Francetto, a son of Franziskus. Here it was shown which exercises can already help in basic training to correct the crookedness of the horse. Then Steffi Seebauer followed with Weil Marbach thoroughbred Arabian stallion Safi and demonstrated helpful sequences on the subject of straightening, especially in canter. Lusitano Bue was the last horse to enter the arena: Anja Beran commented on her ride from the saddle and explained how the horse should feel in the movements. The focus here was on work in walk, as well as on piaffe and passage.
