Impressions of our Sunday Morning Work in May

Unfortunately, the weather did not show its best side at our May morning work either. But despite almost wintry conditions, no visitor missed the event! Instead, the horses presented themselves from their sunny side: The start was made by Akhal-Teke Degni Shael under Anja Beran and P.R.E. Poderio under Vera Munderloh.

Anja Beran demonstrated her training concept and the daily work with the horses with Lusitano Japones under Steffi Seebauer – a horse still in the middle of training and always extremely eager to please the rider. From the saddle, Anja Beran commented on her ride up to the high school on Lusitano Bue in an expressive yet relaxed manner. Lipizzaner stallion Maestoso Stornella, owned by Circus Krone and ridden by Vera Munderloh, followed – a stallion with a great canter and impressive lightness. Finally, Anja Beran demonstrated dressage work with the advanced horse in the saddle of the approved Akhal-Teke breeding stallion Amadei Geli.

Anja Beran attaches particular importance to the equality of the movements: When are lessons successful evenly on both hands? How is this balance achieved? The basis for achieving this goal is straightness. Systematic gymnastics with the help of lateral movements prepares the horse’s body for this challenge. The trainer must analyze each individual horse and apply the lateral movements individually adapted!
